BETTY
O. YAMASHIRO
Ms.
Yamashiro received her undergraduate degree from the University
of Hawaii graduating with a Bachelor of Education Degree. She earned
a Master of Arts Degree in Speech from the University of Illinois.
She graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor Degree from Western
State University College of Law in 1985. She was a member and Planning
Editor of the 1982-1983 Law Review and a member and the Research
Director of the 1983-1984 Moot Court.
Ms. Yamashiro
was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1985. She maintains
professional memberships in the Orange County and Los Angeles Country
Bar Associations, Orange County Japanese American Lawyers Association,
Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, Orange County Women Lawyers, the
Medical, Dental, Legal Ladies Association (MEDELLAS) and the Japanese
American Citizens League (JACL).
She is admitted
to practice in both the federal and state courts of California.
Ms. Yamashiro
works primarily in the areas of business law, corporate law, and
bankruptcy.
