Mr. Chakmak specializes in business, real estate, insurance law, and civil litigation. David A. Buxbaum

Mr. Buxbaum is a graduate of Occidental College where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He receive his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law. During law school Mr. Buxbaum worked with a faculty member on the research and writing of a legal reference book on urban planning. His contributions were acknowledged in the book. He was an editor of various publications at the law school. Mr. Buxbaum was also an editor of a local bar association journal for many years while in professional practice.
His professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and local bar associations.
Mr. Buxbaum has served in various local city government positions, including chairman of the City of Claremont Planning Commission. Mr. Buxbaum is active with numerous non-profit foundations and boards and is currently a trustee of many local educational and charitable organizations. He has founded and organized a regional national bank, in addition to establishing thousands of corporations in his capacity as a business attorney. Mr. Buxbaum has also been selected to serve as a hearing officer in disciplinary actions involving professionals. Mr. Buxbaum has extensive experience in representing the firm's clients before State of California and federal regulatory agencies, such as the California Department of Insurance, California Banking Department, California Commissioner of Corporations, and United States Comptroller of Currency.

Charlene J. Wynder
Charlene J. Wynder graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree and double major in Communications and Political Science. Ms. Wynder worked full-time while attending law school part-time at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, she served as a staff writer and production editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. She also participated in externships with the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office’s Appellate Services Division and the Disability Rights Legal Center’s Education Advocacy Project in Los Angeles.
Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. Wynder worked at both boutique and large law firms, specializing in corporate and business litigation, public entity law and practice, professional liability litigation, and real estate and land use litigation. In her early years, Ms. Wynder gained extensive trial experience and represented both private and public sector clients in state and federal civil, criminal, administrative, writ, and appellate actions. She has previously represented cities and police departments in six (6) different counties, including the cities of Ontario, Fontana, Colton, and Arcadia, along with the Claremont Police Department, Azusa Police Department, Colton Police Department, and the Ontario Police Department.
In representing both public and private sector clients in various counties, Ms. Wynder found that her passion was working with and serving people and organizations within their communities. Ms. Wynder has continued to pursue that passion by providing local legal services to nearby businesses, non-profits, community organizations and individuals. At the firm, she oversees the litigation, non-profit, probate and trust administration departments.
Ms. Wynder lives locally with her husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs. In her free time, Charlene and her husband run a local non-profit organization that serves youth in the community. She also loves food, travel, sports, and reading.

Harshvir Buttar
Harshvir Buttar is an associate attorney at Buxbaum Chakmak & Wynder PC, where he primarily practices transactional law and estate planning.
Harshvir received his Juris Doctor from LMU Loyola Law School, where he was actively involved in student organizations, including the South Asian Law Students Association and the Immigration Law Society. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine.
During law school, Harshvir worked at a business immigration firm, where he handled immigration matters for companies in highly specialized sectors such as automotive, video games, and technology startups. He also gained valuable experience at a public interest law agency, where he worked on real estate and landlord-tenant law issues on behalf of indigent clients.
Outside of his legal practice, Harshvir is an avid watcher of sports and is a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Rams. His interests also include technology and film editing. He is fluent in Punjabi and proficient in Hindi

Dan Hanoum
Mr. Hanoum received his undergraduate degree from California State University Long Beach graduating with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy in 1987. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1991. While at law school he was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge for the University of Washington Traffic Court.
Mr. Hanoum was admitted to the State Bar of Washington in 1991 and the State Bar of California in 1993. He has also been admitted to practice law in United States Federal Court.

Neil J. Kantor
Neil J. Kantor graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor degree in Business Management from California State University, Northridge. Shortly after graduating, Mr. Kantor started a real estate investment company which involved purchasing land, working with architects, builders and various city planning departments, whereby his company successfully developed over 8 apartment buildings in the Los Angeles, Koreatown and Los Feliz areas. Thereafter Mr. Kantor became the managing partner of the second largest film and digital post-production facility in North America. After over twenty-three years in the entertainment post-production industry Mr. Kantor decided to pursue his one true passion, that of becoming a lawyer. He attended The University of West Los Angeles School of Law where he fulfilled his lifelong ambition of becoming a lawyer.
After law school Mr. Kantor started his own boutique law firm in Los Angeles, California where he was able to intertwine his lifelong practical business experience with the practice of law. Mr. Kantor is well experienced in contract and contract litigation, transactions, business litigation, post-judgment recovery, real property litigation including landlord/tenant disputes, wills and trusts, community property insurance and subrogation litigation, civil litigation, and appellate law.
In his spare time Mr. Kantor is a dedicated California Bar Tutor where he is uniquely skilled at explaining the law in a way that seems to resonate with students in order to better understand the complex rules of law, organization, timing techniques and proficiency in writing.
Mr. Kantor enjoys watching the NHL, as well as college and pro football and is especially passionate when it comes to supporting his favorite NFL team the Seattle Seahawks.
